DFID’s UKAID

The Department for International Development (DFID) manages Britain’s aid to poor countries and works to end extreme poverty. As well as headquarters in London and East Kilbride, near Glasgow, DFID has offices in around 40 developing countries and provides aid to around 90 countries.

The projects involved working with DFID to design the UKaid logo which was introduced to help make it easier for people to see where and how Britain’s aid budget is being spent. The  logo is used for a range of projects from emergency humanitarian responses, and long-term international development programmes, through to work here in the UK.
